Tinubu’s Confidence in the New Appointees

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced the appointment of eight new permanent secretaries to the Federal Civil Service.

The selection, conducted by the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, culminated in the appointment of qualified individuals, including Ndakayo-Aishetu Gogo, Adeoye Ayodeji, Rimi Abba, and Bako Deborah Odoh. Other appointees are Omachi Omenka, Ahmed Umar, Watti Tinuke, and Ella Agbo.

In a statement by spokesperson Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu expressed confidence that the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries, having excelled in the rigorous assessment process, will enhance service delivery across Federal Ministries, Departments, and Agencies for the benefit of Nigerians.

Additionally, President Tinubu urged APC governors, during a meeting with Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma, and Kogi State Governor-elect Ahmed Usman Ododo, to prioritize the interests of the people and work diligently for the well-being of their respective states.

Tinubu emphasized the importance of inclusivity and reminded the governors that they are now servants of the people, urging them to uphold the responsibilities entrusted to them.
