Rwanda’s President, Paul Kagame, made a groundbreaking announcement on November 2 in Kigali, declaring that Rwanda will grant visa-free travel to all Africans.

This move aims to promote the free movement of people and facilitate trade within the continent. Rwanda joins the ranks of other African nations such as Gambia, Benin, and Seychelles in eliminating travel restrictions for fellow Africans.

President Kagame emphasized the immense potential of Africa as a unified tourism destination and highlighted the importance of tapping into the continent’s own continental market.

He envisions that this initiative will help Africa become a key player in global tourism as its middle class continues to grow rapidly in the coming decades.
