Evangelist Michael Abayomi Bamiloye, commonly known as Mike Bamiloye, is a prominent figure in Nigerian ministry and filmmaking. Born on April 13, 1960, in Ilesa, Osun State, Nigeria, he faced early hardships, losing his mother at the age of four and being cared for by his elder sister until he could fend for himself. Bamiloye received his education at the Divisional Teachers’ Training College in Ipetumodu, where he laid the foundation for his career.

In 1985, Bamiloye founded the Mount Zion Faith Ministries, a significant milestone in his journey as a Drama Evangelist. This ministry became a platform for his impactful work in both stage dramas and films with a gospel message. His debut drama, “Hell in Conference,” premiered at the National Christian Teachers Conference in 1986, marking the beginning of a prolific career in Christian entertainment.

On August 5, 1985, Bamiloye’s vision for Mount Zion was embraced by Evangelist Mrs. Gloria Olusola Mike-Bamiloye, his wife and partner in ministry. Together, they pioneered the Mount Zion Faith Ministry, which later expanded to include Mount Zion Television. The couple, blessed with three children – Damilola, Joshua, and Darasimi Lawrence Oyor, along with grandchildren, have dedicated their lives to spreading the gospel through various mediums.

Gloria Bamiloye, an accomplished dramatist, actress, producer, and director in her own right, has been instrumental in the success of Mount Zion Drama Ministry. Born in Ilesa, Osun State, Gloria received her education at the Divisional Teachers Training College in Ipetumodu before crossing paths with Mike Bamiloye in 1983. Their union not only led to a partnership in marriage but also in ministry, as they jointly established Mount Zion Faith Ministry.

Throughout her career, Gloria Bamiloye has been involved in numerous Nigerian films and dramas, contributing her talents to storytelling with a Christian ethos. In 2002, she authored “The Anxiety of Single Sisters,” reflecting her commitment to addressing contemporary issues within the Christian community. Together, Mike and Gloria Bamiloye continue to inspire and uplift audiences through their shared dedication to faith-based entertainment and ministry.
